While at NerdWallet, I took on the challenge of building a library of marketing articles and another of business grant articles. I relished the opportunity to use my knowledge of marketing and lending to write consumer-first content. The libraries included learn articles, product reviews, roundups and syndication pieces and employed an internal linking strategy.
Syndication articles at NerdWallet were written to elevate the brand and drive readers to the website. After a pitch was accepted, I identified sources, conducted interviews and wrote the article.
I’ve created marketing materials for Axos Bank, Wells Fargo and other companies. I led the content team in developing the new voice for the Axos Bank rebrand and creating marketing assets with word usage, grammar and tone reflective of the new brand. To ensure brand consistency, I wrote content style guides for the company brand and partnership content.
As a liaison between Wells Fargo sales groups and the corporate advertising department, I worked on marketing projects that involved creating new print ads and modifying existing generic content.
At Axos Bank, I created website content for the company rebrand. This was a massive project that required the creation of nearly 100 pages that followed newly developed brand style and content guidelines.
I collaborated with UX designers to create content for the bank’s new mobile app. This required developing a UX content style guide to ensure content that was both concise and compliant with banking, lending and investment regulations.
I was able to use my talent for breaking complex processes into easy-to-understand steps while working at Intuit. I created onboarding presentations, worksheets, handouts and other training materials that could be used by employees in the TurboTax division.
